Redback Smelter "Furnace Boot" Steel Toe Black
Smelter boot with Metatarsal guard is built extra tough to prevent the entry of molten metals from sudden exposure to ongoing splashes. The slip-on design has Velcro straps to ensure closure and allows for quick release in event of sudden exposure.
Primarily used in the Aluminum smelting, foundry industries.
Exceeds 3 second molten metal immersion test.
Nitrile vulcanized rubber sole is resistant to repeat exposures of 300°C& single exposures of 1000°C.
100% full chrome tanned leather has been treated for specific heat, chemical and water resistance.
Steel toe is certified to ASTM F2413-11 regulations
Slip Resistant - MARK II Machine tested slip resistant on oil, acid & water.
Anatomic Support System - Redback's unique Anatomic Sole cradles the foot to reduce arch sagging and prevents foot strain, fatigue and related leg and back pain.
